Two Factor Authentication, or 2FA, is an extra security step used when logging into accounts. Instead of just entering a password, you also need a second form of verification, like a code sent to your phone or an authentication app. This makes accounts much harder to break into, even if a password is compromised. 2FA is commonly used for email, banking, social media, and business tools, and is one of the simplest ways to significantly improve digital security.
